Keep moist from early spring through summer & don't allow the growing media to become dry. Over watering and excessive temperatures can cause the rhizomes to rot. Apply half strength liquid fertilizer during the growing season.

铃兰 Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis). Its scientific name, majalis or maialis, means "of or belonging to May". In the "language of flowers", the Lily of the Valley signifies the return of happiness.

lily-of-the-valley is one of the easiest groundcovers to grow. It's perfect in the shady spot off the patio or under the big tree in the backyard. Do watch it, though: It can be a vigorous spreader.
